site awards AUGUST O8 - SOTM from Deavon @ No Bad News | View Award Words: Words are not enough to cover how awesome John is, but I'm gonna try. I remember when John first opened his site, he showed it to me and I was beyond amazed. I knew at that very moment that this was what he was meant for. It just seems to come so naturally for him, and it makes me a bit jealous. He always seems to think outside of the box, and I think that's what makes his art so amazing. There is no formula he follows, there's no magic code that makes it awesome if you follow it. He just seems to have the instincts that can create such beauty as easy as breathing. His layouts are always a pure pleasure to look at, if he didn't have anything but a layout up on his site I would still visit every day, just to marvel at the greatness he created. John is my host, as well as my best friend, and I couldn't live a day without him. You deserve so much more than a SOTM award, but I'll give it to ya anyway. ;-) JULY O8 - SOTM from Marilyne @ Shadow of the Day | View Award Words: A lot of you guys know how much I'm in love with John and his site Walking Downtown, but I thought I would share the reason why John's so made of awesomness with the few of you who don't know this Rockstar yet. Ok first, the word talented is not enough to describe this artist, he's more of a magician-god-master on the Fanart department. Everything he does ends up as a Masterpiece. Everytime I look at his new pieces my jaw reaches the floor. He has this gorgeous style that makes me think of what music would look like if it was visible. I'm so damn jealous of his compositions, this guy works with brushes, shapes and lights like no one else can. I'm telling you, he's an incredible artist. His layouts are unique and always full of life. And his goodies are like drug, once you used them you can't stop - they're real digital candy ! So go give him some love, you won't regret it :) Congrats John, I love you more than you could imagine ! FEBRUARY O8 - SOTM from Heidi @ Learning to Breathe | View Award Words: So the SOTM for the month of February is John @ Walking Downtown! I chose John for many reasons, one he always has an amazing site with gorgeous and very useful goodies. Not to mention his layouts are always so pretty and very creative. John has grown so much as an artist, his art just gets better and better everytime. YOu should def. go check out his site, it's defiantly worth it! |
